The Day of the Journalist is celebrated on June 7 because on a day like this but in the year 1810, Mariano Moreno founded "La Gazeta de Buenos Aires", the first newspaper of the independence stage of Argentina. Thus, the Day of the Journalist was established in 1938 in the First National Congress of Journalists held in the city of Córdoba in memory of this first media outlet with patriotic ideas.
Physical day
The Day of the Physicist in Argentina is also celebrated every June 7 . However, unlike Journalist's Day , there is no specific reason or motive for said event to be celebrated on this date. The only thing that is known is that the Physicist Day was institutionalized to be celebrated every June 7 in our country to recognize the fundamental and necessary work carried out by all physics professionals in promoting the development of science and technology in all the Argentine territory.
